Diane, our Events Director, works with you before the day to understand your occasion. On the day itself, your guests are welcomed personally, looked after throughout and made to feel that the occasion has been prepared with them in mind.

Wolfson Hall accommodates up to 180 for a formal lunch or dinner, with professional lighting, a modular stage for speeches and presentations, and a built-in projector for video content and tribute reels. The Atrium provides a warm and atmospheric reception space alongside, with a retractable glass roof that opens at the flip of a switch. Few venues in the West End can offer an indoor and outdoor feel in a single space, and your guests are welcome to ask for a demonstration at any site visit.

Dietary requirements are accommodated as standard. Service throughout the occasion is attentive and warm, timed to the rhythm of your programme rather than the other way round.

With high-profile guests, valuable auction items and often press attendance, security matters. Our team retains full authority throughout your evening and can work alongside any additional security you bring.

A fundraising evening often depends on a moment: a film, a speech, a live appeal. The right AV makes those moments land. Our in-house provision covers the essentials for most events, and where your programme requires a dedicated AV technician on the night, we can arrange this at an additional cost.

Yes. The modular stage, professional lighting and HD projection in Wolfson Hall support a live auction or fundraising appeal as part of your evening’s programme. If your event requires a dedicated AV technician to manage the technical delivery, we can arrange this at an additional cost.
Is there a private space for VIP guests or trustees before the event begins?
Yes. The Green Room can be set up as a private pre-event space for VIP supporters, trustees, speakers or organisers. It accommodates up to 20 guests and can be configured to suit the needs of your evening.
Can you accommodate guests with dietary requirements across a large guest list?
Yes. Our in-house catering team builds every menu around your guest list. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements are accommodated as standard. We recommend collecting dietary information from guests in advance and sharing it with Diane as part of the planning process.
Is the venue available exclusively for our event?
Yes. The Central operates on an exclusive use basis. Your event is the only one in the building. Your guests have the full run of the venue for the evening.
Can we bring our own security for the auction items or high-profile guests?
Yes. Any additional security you bring is welcome, though The Central’s own security team retains authority on site throughout your event.
