The Central West End, London

Host an awards dinner in an event space that mirrors the significance of your celebration

The Central is an exclusive use venue in the heart of London's West End. An elegant, private setting where an awards dinner becomes an occasion your guests will carry with them.

Your people deserve a room that rises to the occasion.

An awards dinner is about recognition. The space it happens in sends a message of its own. At The Central, your guests arrive at ato a venue that is entirely theirs for the evening. A private, beautifully appointed setting that makes the occasion feel as considered as the awards themselves.

Wolfson Hall provides an elegant stage for the ceremony, complete with professional lighting and a modular stage for presentations. The Atrium offers a warm, atmospheric space for a reception beforehand. And throughout the evening, a team who understand hospitality ensures every guest feels like a VIP.

Whether you are recognising staff, celebrating partners, honouring supporters or marking achievement within your community, The Central provides the surroundings that make recognition feel real.

Why The Central?

What makes the difference on an awards evening

A stage worthy of the moment

Wolfson Hall has the presence an awards ceremony needs. Professional lighting, a modular stage and a built-in projector give you everything required to deliver a polished, memorable ceremony. The room holds the formality of the occasion without feeling cold. When a winner walks to the front, the setting does justice to the moment.

An arrival that sets the tone

First impressions carry. Your guests arrive at The Atrium, a light-filled space with a retractable glass roof that takes on a warm, intimate quality as the evening begins. A well-designed arrival sets the atmosphere for everything that follows. By the time guests move through to dinner, the evening already feels special.

Hospitality that treats every guest as a VIP

An awards dinner brings together people who have earned their place in the room. Our team recognises that. Every guest is welcomed personally, looked after throughout the evening and made to feel that the occasion has been prepared with them in mind. That quality of care runs from the first welcome drink to the final goodbye.

“All the small touches were certainly acknowledged and noticed by many. You and Dan were really amazing. We received many lovely comments about the venue.”

FAQs

A few questions we are often asked

Can the awards ceremony and dinner happen in the same room?

Yes. Wolfson Hall is well suited to a combined dinner and ceremony format. The modular stage, professional lighting and HD projection allow the ceremony to be woven through the meal or presented as a distinct part of the programme, depending on what works best for your event.

Can you support video presentations or tribute reels as part of the ceremony?

Yes. The built-in HD projector in Wolfson Hall supports video playback as part of your programme. If your ceremony requires a dedicated AV technician to manage the technical delivery on the night, we can arrange this.

How does the registration area work for arriving guests?

The Registration Area can be set up with a desk and up to six chairs to welcome and check in guests on arrival. Diane will work with you in advance to ensure the arrival experience is smooth and well managed from the first guest through the door.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements across a large guest list?

Yes. Our in-house catering team builds menus around your full guest list. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements are accommodated as standard. Sharing these with Diane is part of the planning process.

Can we bring our own security or press management?

Yes. Any additional security or press support you bring is welcome, though The Central’s own security team retains authority on site throughout your event.
