Each of our spaces has its own character, and together they give you the flexibility to shape your event exactly as you would like it. When you are here, every room is yours.
Is The Central an exclusive-use venue?
Yes. Every event at The Central takes place on an exclusive-use basis. When you hire the venue, it is entirely yours. No other guests, no shared spaces, no interruptions. You and your guests have the building to yourselves for the duration of your event.
What is the maximum capacity for a cabaret-style layout in the Wolfson Hall?
Between 125 and 150 guests, depending on the number of chairs per table. During the planning stage, our team will advise on the configuration that works best for your event.
Does the Wolfson Hall have natural light?
Yes. Natural light filters through from The Atrium and reflects into the Wolfson Hall, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
What is The Atrium? Is it an outdoor space?
The Atrium is a fully enclosed indoor space with a light, open feel. It brings a sense of the outdoors inside, making it a popular choice for summer gatherings and drinks receptions. It is not an outdoor space, but it does not feel like a conventional indoor one either. Our team will help you decide how best to use it within your event.
What is the Green Room?
The Green Room is a versatile, multi-function space. It can serve as a staff office, a private meeting room, a breakout space or a quiet room for calls. Your event coordinator will advise on the best use for your specific requirements.
Catering and drinks
All food and drink at The Central London is prepared and presented in-house, with menus tailored to your event as part of the proposal process. We bring the same care to what is on the table as we do to every other aspect of your day.
Can we bring in our own catering?
No. All catering at The Central is provided in-house. Our menus are tailored to each event and form part of your proposal.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
No. All drinks are supplied by us.
Is a cash bar available?
No. A cash bar is not part of our offering.
Planning your event
We take care of the details so you can focus on what matters. Our team is with you from your first enquiry through to the close of the evening.
What time can we access the venue for set up?
The venue is available for set-up from 07:30 am.
What is the latest time we can use the venue?
All events must conclude by 11:00 pm.
Can we use our own AV team?
Yes. You are welcome to bring in your own AV team. Our in-house AV facilities will be fully available to them throughout the event.
What does the journey from enquiry to event day look like?
Once we receive your enquiry, we may follow up with a few questions to ensure we understand your needs fully. We then send a tailored proposal with a covering note and check in within 48 hours to confirm everything has reached you.
From there, we arrange a site visit so you can see the spaces and meet the team in person. When you are ready to proceed, we send a booking form and contract. As your event date approaches, we stay in regular contact to work through every detail together.
On the day itself, our team is with you from the moment you arrive through to the close of the evening.
Celebrations
The Central is a place for moments that matter. Whatever the occasion, our team ensures every guest feels welcomed and looked after.
Do you host wedding receptions?
Yes. We host wedding receptions and post-ceremony celebrations. Our team ensures that every guest is looked after from arrival to the end of the evening. For legal ceremonies, we recommend contacting your local register office or a licensed ceremony venue.
Do you host musical evenings?
The Wolfson Hall lends itself well to musical events, and we have hosted intimate evenings here in the past. All events at The Central London are hosted as closed gatherings, with invitations extended to confirmed guest lists in advance.
